AP1000 China Project

Our China Project consists of four AP1000 Nuclear Island (NI) units that Westinghouse will build in China in a consortium with Shaw Stone & Webster Asia, Inc. and in co-operation with the State Nuclear Power Technology Corp., Ltd. and two Chinese nuclear utilities. In addition, Westinghouse is transferring technology and providing servicing to the Chinese suppliers. The AP1000 represents the most advanced third generation, modularized design Nuclear Power Plant technology.
